Welcome to St Ambrose's website, we are part of the wider community in Leyland, Lancashire.
St Ambrose is a truly inclusive church. A place where our differences in theology are reflected and celebrated; where all people regardless of ethnicity, belief, religion and sexual orientation will not encounter the bigotry, discrimination or lack of love. We will welcome the honest seeker, the curious, and the confused, the tortured and angst soul. When someone walks through the doors of our church, they will not only feel welcomed and supported but also know and experience it. .
This site is full of information about the Church. The site is updated regularly, at least weekly, and contains an electronic version of our notices. It also contains information on how to make use of the Church (the people not the building) and its facilities (including the buildings). Church Treasurer wanted
Colin Megson will be retiring as treasurer at the end of July. We are extremely grateful to Colin for all his hard work and commitment
in maintaining our church finances over the past 4 years.
A successor is urgently needed!
Colin will offer guidance and support. The role would ideally
suit someone with a good working knowledge of accounting
procedures, perhaps a semi-qualified accountant or someone
with a few years’ practical experience of preparation of Final
accounts.If you (or someone you know) are interested in finding
out more about being a treasurer please contact
